Reports indicate that the driver, an elderly man, had parked his car and left his son, who has intellectual disabilities, inside.

The vehicle then inexplicably began reversing across a four-lane road, colliding with several motorcycles. One motorcycle, ridden by the elderly man, was struck, and his female passenger, Lin, became trapped under the car. Emergency services, including firefighters, rushed to the scene to assist the injured. Lin was successfully extricated from under the car and, along with the elderly man, was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.

The Keelung City Fire Department received the distress call at 1:49 PM, immediately dispatching personnel to the scene on Nanrong Road. The exact cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
