Taiwan Teacher's Shocking Affair: Sex in Classroom and Car Leads to Conviction

A teacher at a junior high school in New Taipei City, Taiwan, has been convicted after a disturbing three-year relationship with a female student. The teacher, identified as 周 (Zhou), engaged in a pattern of inappropriate behavior, including hugging, kissing, and multiple instances of intimate sexual acts within the classroom and a vehicle.

The court found that the relationship began when the student was in her first year and continued through her third year. The acts included intimate sexual behavior in the classroom and the teacher's car. 周 (Zhou) attempted to defend his actions by claiming he was assisting with the student's "sexual awakening."

The New Taipei District Court found 周 (Zhou) guilty of both indecent assault and sexual intercourse. He has been sentenced to two years in prison, with the possibility of appeal. This case underscores the severe consequences of teacher misconduct and the importance of protecting students from abuse of authority.
