In a dramatic turn of events, Huang Huangzhi, an 85-year-old leader involved in the "double recall" movement in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, collapsed outside the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office after being questioned about alleged violations. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community and is raising questions about the legal proceedings.
Huang Huangzhi, along with Zhu Lei and Xu Shangxian, faced accusations of forging documents and violating the election laws. The case is under investigation by prosecutors.
Reports indicate that Huang Huangzhi experienced a medical issue around 9 PM. His family rushed to provide medication at the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office but were initially denied entry. Later, a court officer assisted in delivering the medication. However, at approximately 10 PM, after being released from the hearing, Huang Huangzhi exited the building and, after uttering the words "I am so wronged..." lost consciousness and fell to the ground, prompting immediate medical assistance and hospitalization.
