A late-night brawl at a KTV establishment in Jinhu Township, Kinmen, on April 16th resulted in the death of a man, leading to widespread discussion. Initial reports and social media rumours suggested that a "hotel lady," allegedly a former 士官長 (sergeant), was responsible for the fatal injuries. However, the 金門 (Kinmen) police have issued a swift clarification.

The 金門 (Kinmen) police have firmly stated that the reports are inaccurate. The investigation has so far only confirmed that a man with the surname Wang, associated with the establishment, was involved in the physical altercation. The "hotel lady" was merely present at the scene and witnessed the incident, therefore, is currently listed as a witness.

The incident occurred around 11:15 PM on April 16th at a KTV in the fishing village of Jinhu Township. According to preliminary investigations, Mr. Zheng, a Taiwanese construction worker, invited the Liang brothers, also from Taiwan, for drinks. The group consumed a bottle of Gao Liang liquor. When the service period ended and the female companions were preparing to leave, the Liang brothers expressed their dissatisfaction, leading to an escalated situation. They threw liquor bottles and glasses, prompting the female companion to alert the establishment. The owner and manager then attempted to mediate the escalating situation.
