A recent StarLux Airlines flight, originally scheduled to depart from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, to Taoyuan, Taiwan at 4:25 PM (Japan time), experienced a significant disruption. Reports indicate an onboard conflict involving a passenger and a flight attendant, leading to a delay of approximately three hours.

The incident reportedly involved the passenger allegedly biting a flight attendant. Despite efforts by the crew to de-escalate the situation, the passenger's behavior escalated, necessitating the intervention of Japanese airport police. The authorities subsequently removed the passenger from the aircraft.

The pilot of the StarLux flight announced over the intercom that the delay was due to the need for Japanese government approval during the handling of the passenger by the authorities. The pilot extended apologies for the prolonged wait and thanked passengers for their cooperation and understanding.
