National Highway 6 in Taiwan, renowned for its elevated roadways, is again the site of a tragic incident. The "Bridge Soaring to the Clouds" section, specifically at the Guoxing Interchange, has experienced a second fatal fall within a mere two weeks. The latest incident, occurring on the eastbound lane, resulted in the death of an individual who plummeted approximately 70 meters.

This section of National Highway 6, which connects Wufeng in Taichung to Puli in Nantou County, is largely elevated, and the Guoxing Interchange, with its visually stunning "Bridge Soaring to the Clouds," has been recognized for its beauty, even being honored as one of the "Eight Views of Highways." However, this beauty now carries a somber shadow as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding these recent fatalities.

Police investigations are underway, with initial reports indicating no external involvement in either case. The exact causes and sequence of events leading to these falls are still under investigation, leaving the community and authorities grappling with the need to understand and address these tragic events.
