According to reports, a 61-year-old Taiwanese woman, identified as Lin, was found deceased alongside her 56-year-old Japanese ex-husband, named Kura. The grim discovery was made after the landlord became unable to contact the tenants and alerted the police.

The authorities, upon entering the apartment, found the bodies of the couple. Initial investigations revealed no signs of a struggle, but the cause of death remains under investigation. It has been reported that Lin suffered from a severe disability, making her dependent on Kura for daily care. Despite their divorce, the couple continued to reside together in the rented property on Jingping Road in Zhonghe.
