Police Investigate Death of Japanese National and Taiwanese Ex-Wife in Zhonghe District

A disturbing discovery has unfolded in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Police responded to a call reporting the tragic death of a Japanese man and his Taiwanese ex-wife within a rental property. The landlord, concerned after being unable to contact the tenants, a 56-year-old Japanese man, Mr. X, and his 61-year-old ex-wife, Ms. Lin, contacted the authorities.

Authorities, including police and fire personnel, gained entry to the residence. Sadly, they discovered the two individuals deceased inside.
