Taipei, April 28 – Asustek Computer Inc. (ASUS), a leading tech innovator based in Taiwan, is gearing up for a major push into artificial intelligence-driven products and services in 2025, according to Chairman Jonney Shih (施崇棠).

The company's strategic focus will encompass a range of AI-powered solutions, including AI PCs, AI servers, Edge AI, and the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), as detailed in a recent business report.

Shih highlighted the early yet rapidly evolving stage of AI empowerment, emphasizing that the expansion of AI products and applications will accelerate innovation and drive market transformation.

Looking ahead, ASUS plans to develop high-end products in 2025 to further enhance user experiences and strengthen its brand reputation.

The report revealed that ASUS achieved consolidated sales of NT$587.1 billion (US$18.06 billion) in 2024, representing a 22 percent increase year-over-year, with a net income of NT$31.4 billion and after-tax earnings per share (EPS) of NT$42.

Shih noted that the 2024 sales figures were the second-highest in the company's history, following NT$755.4 billion achieved in 2007. ASUS accomplished several key strategic objectives, including establishing a leadership position in Copilot+ PCs, a new category of Windows PCs designed specifically for AI functionalities.
