In the escalating trade dispute, U.S. President Donald Trump declared a "great time to get rich" as China retaliated with tariffs.

Following Trump's announcement on July 2nd of reciprocal 34% tariffs on Chinese goods, China responded on July 4th by imposing a 34% tariff on all U.S. imports.

Hours later, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to reaffirm his position, stating his policies will "never change."
