Shocking Incident in Taoyuan: Child Stabbed After Drink Shop Dispute
A peaceful holiday turns violent as a woman's rage spills over, resulting in a terrifying attack in Taiwan.

On the first day of the Qingming Festival holiday, a disturbing incident unfolded in Taoyuan, Taiwan, involving a child being stabbed in broad daylight. A woman, approximately 50 years old, entered a beverage shop and became embroiled in a heated argument with the store clerk.
The dispute escalated when the woman allegedly produced a knife from her bag. Two women from nearby businesses, hearing the commotion, intervened to de-escalate the situation. However, the aggressor, failing to attack the two women, turned her aggression towards one of the women's 3-year-old daughter, stabbing the child in the back.
Initial reports indicate the child was conscious when rushed to the hospital. Details suggest that the woman arrived at the beverage shop around 10:00 AM on Long'an Street, where she first attempted to order a drink. She then claimed to be the landlord of the shop, demanding the clerk contact the manager. Following a heated discussion with the manager, the woman reportedly threw the clerk's phone and caused a disturbance before producing the weapon.
