United Airlines kicked things off on Wednesday with the inauguration of its Taipei (Taoyuan) – Guam route, offering twice-weekly flights to the popular Pacific island destination.

United Airlines is utilizing a Boeing 737-800 with 166 seats for the new Guam service. Flights depart from Taoyuan International Airport at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Return flights from Guam are scheduled for 7:00 a.m. on both days. Representatives from the Guam Visitors Bureau and United Airlines were present at the Taoyuan airport to celebrate the inaugural flight and promote Guam as a premier travel destination.
