Taiwan's fight against fraud is heating up! The National Police Agency, under the Ministry of the Interior (內政部), launched the "Hundred Cuts Plan" (百斬計畫) on April 1st, aiming to shift citizens from passive victims to active participants in the battle against scams. This initiative offers significant rewards for those who help bring down "carriers" (車手), the individuals responsible for collecting the fraudulent money.

Following the success of a previous case in Tainan (台南) where a citizen received a 50,000 NTD reward for their efforts, another individual has achieved a major victory. By providing information that led to the arrest of two carriers, this citizen is now eligible to receive a substantial 100,000 NTD reward. The police are assisting the individual in submitting the necessary application.

The core of the "Hundred Cuts Plan" revolves around encouraging the public to actively report information via the 165 anti-fraud dashboard's "Hundred Cuts Action Carrier Reporting Section." Citizens are encouraged to provide key information regarding suspected fraud "carriers." Upon successful apprehension or arrest of these carriers, informants are awarded a generous 50,000 NTD reward.
