The visit of President Tsai Ing-wen and Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim to Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) has ignited curiosity, prompting questions about the health of Chen Chu, the former President of the Control Yuan in Taiwan.

Chen Chu, who was hospitalized at KMU last year for a severe cold, subsequently underwent surgery to remove a tumor discovered on her kidney. Following the surgery, she experienced a cerebral vascular obstruction and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
