Good News for Taichung! Municipal Road Extension Phase Nears Completion, Set for May Opening
Improved Traffic Flow Expected with Key Section of Taichung's Municipal Road Extension Project Finishing Up.

Great news for residents and commuters in Taichung City! The first phase of the "Municipal Road Extension Project," connecting three major industrial and technology parks, is nearing completion. The section from Industrial Zone Road 1 to Anhe Road has been successfully finalized and is currently undergoing inspection.
The entire stretch of streetlights has been lit, signaling the countdown to its opening. The road is expected to open to traffic after the inspection is completed in May. This opening promises to significantly ease traffic congestion along Industrial Zone Road 1 to Taiwan Boulevard and Chaoma Road.
The Municipal Road Extension project is a vital artery in Taichung, linking the Taichung Industrial Park, the Precision Machinery Technology Innovation Park, and the Central Taiwan Science Park. The total length of the project is approximately 1950 meters with a width of 60 meters. It is being carried out in two phases and involves a budget of approximately NT$7.39 billion (including NT$3.96 billion for construction and NT$3.43 billion for land acquisition).
