Taiwan's Turn: US Trade Talks on the Horizon with Israel and Taiwan Regarding Tariffs
A pivotal discussion about trade and tariffs is set to take place between the United States, Taiwan, and Israel.

In a recent interview with Fox News on the 11th, United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer revealed that discussions regarding tariffs will occur later that day with representatives from both Israel and Taiwan. Greer also noted that the response from China regarding tariffs was regrettable.
Earlier in the week, former US President Trump announced that over 75 countries globally have contacted various US departments, including the Department of Commerce, the Treasury, and the Office of the Trade Representative, to discuss solutions related to trade barriers and tariffs. These countries have not retaliated against the US in any manner. As a result, the implementation of reciprocal tariffs has been postponed for 90 days, with tariff rates significantly reduced to 10% during this period.
