Former Taiwan People's Party (TPP) Chairman Ko Wen-je, experienced discomfort on the evening of November 2nd at approximately 6:40 PM. Initial physiological measurements indicated no anomalies from his baseline health data, despite this he was considered a high-risk individual. At 9:55 PM, he was escorted for an external medical examination. He returned to the Taipei Detention Center of the Ministry of Justice's Agency of Corrections at 11:57 PM.

The Taipei Detention Center announced that, following an examination by a physician that assessed his reported discomfort and the status of his previous medical treatments, it was determined that he did not meet the criteria for hospitalization.

The Detention Center further stated that it will continue to monitor Ko Wen-je's health, providing care in accordance with medical instructions. His condition is currently stable. The center will remain vigilant regarding any changes in his health and provide necessary medical resources.
