The "Keelung Podcast" channel, managed by the Keelung City Government, recently aired a program titled "Keelung's Talent Retention and Local Education." The show featured insights from two high-achieving students, Su Ting-yi, a second-year student from Keelung Senior High School, and Wang Yu-zhen, a third-year student from **Keelung Girls' High School**. They shared their perspectives on the advantages of choosing local education, emphasizing the increased opportunities to attend top universities and achieve their dreams within the region.

Su Ting-yi's experience is particularly compelling. She was academically qualified to attend **Taipei First Girls High School (北一女)**, a highly prestigious institution. However, after careful consideration, including the daunting three-hour daily commute, she decided to forgo the offer. Instead, she chose to attend Keelung Senior High School and is currently excelling academically.

Starting this week, the Keelung City Government's Education Department will release a new episode of the "Keelung's Talent Retention and Local Education" series every Monday on the "Keelung Podcast" channel. The program aims to feature student voices and provide valuable insights into the benefits of studying locally in Taiwan.
