A frightening incident occurred in Taipei City's Lin-Sen North Road today, when exterior tiles detached from the 39-year-old "Lucky Mansion" and plummeted to the ground. The falling debris struck a vehicle and a taxi that were waiting at a traffic light.
The passengers in the car, a mother and her daughter, were understandably startled and suffered minor abrasions. They sought medical attention at Mackay Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Surveillance footage has since emerged, revealing at least two large pieces of tile falling from the building, directly impacting the car's roof in a shocking display.
