Nvidia CEO Highlights Deep Partnership with Taiwanese Tech Giants at AI Conference

In a significant display of collaboration, Nvidia's founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, recently toured the exhibition booths of key Taiwanese partners at the Nvidia GTC conference, a global artificial intelligence summit held in California. This visit underscored the crucial role Taiwan plays in Nvidia's AI endeavors.

During his tour, Huang met with key figures from leading Taiwanese companies, witnessing firsthand the latest advancements in AI server technology. At Hon Hai's booth, Chairman Young Liu introduced Huang to the company's next-generation server rack, built upon Nvidia's advanced GB300 NVL72 platform. This platform is engineered for superior AI reasoning performance, incorporating a fully liquid-cooled, rack-scale design that integrates 72 Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 ARM-based CPUs.

Huang's endorsement of the Hon Hai innovation was evident when he signed "Foxconn Awesome, Jensen Approved" on the AI-powered server rack, a testament to the quality and innovative spirit of the Taiwanese partner.

The Nvidia CEO also visited Pegatron Corp., a major Taiwan-based AI server manufacturer. Chairman Tung Tzu-hsien welcomed Huang, who then interacted with Pegatron's high-density GPU rack, also leveraging the GB300 NVL72 platform. Huang's inscription, "Jensen was here, Pegatron Rocks," highlights his approval of Pegatron's contributions to the industry.

Pegatron has been actively expanding its presence in the burgeoning server market, launching multiple products that integrate Nvidia's platform solutions, including the GB300 NVL72, showcasing Taiwan's strength in manufacturing and technological prowess.

Earlier in the week, Huang emphasized his choice to partner with Taiwanese companies. He cited their high standards and the synergistic benefits of this collaboration. He highlighted that this long-standing partnership, built upon decades of cooperation, has fostered strong bonds and driven remarkable achievements in the tech landscape.

The Nvidia GTC conference featured the participation of over twenty Taiwanese tech companies, either as exhibitors or sponsors. Among the prominent names, alongside Hon Hai and Pegatron, were companies such as Asus, Quanta Cloud Technology, Delta, and Liteon, underscoring the breadth and depth of Taiwan's contributions to the global tech ecosystem.
